TODDLERS (12 – 24 MONTHS)
Toddlers are busy, busy little learners with lots of new things to explore. We specialize in channeling all that energy into things that help toddlers learn and grow. Claiborne Christian Preschool teachers lead young toddlers through age-appropriate activities to improve coordination, and increase verbal and problem solving skills. The Wee Learn Christian curriculum used with toddlers is based on the idea that children are naturally curious and motivated to learn. So, we provide them with the materials and experiences to help them understand and communicate in ways most meaningful to them.
CHALLENGING AGE APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES:
- Motor Skills Development – catching, tossing, crawling, rolling, walking
- Language Development – speech development, reading time, transitioning, sign language
- Music and Movement – dancing, singing, Bible songs and finger plays
- Shapes and Colors – identifying and forming shapes
- Artistic Development – art and construction projects
- Bible – beginning Bible stories, verses and songs, praise and worship
“Children are to be taught God’s Word through all the day’s activities.” (Deuteronomy 6: 6-7)
